The Artist's Way Accountability Workshop // May - June - July
“As an artist, I do not need to be rich but I do need to be richly supported. I cannot allow my emotional and intellectual life to stagnate or the work will show it. My life will show it.”―Julia Cameron, The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity

Enrollment open to all .
The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron, is a 12-week creative unblocking program. The book teaches techniques and exercises to assist people in gaining self-confidence in harnessing their creative talents and skills. It’s incredibly rewarding when you finish the 12 weeks, but due to lack of accountability, people rarely do.
But this is The Artist’s Way after 10 cups of coffee. This is an accountability program.
This workshop is intended to be an encouraging group of like-minded creatives who will cheer each other on and hold each other accountable. Through weekly virtual meetings, optional morning write-ins, emails, instructor availability, morning pages, artists dates, shared resources, the Written in Brooklyn storytelling lens, and texting your ass if I feel like you’re slipping, we’ll create a profound experience and cross the 12-week finish line feeling more in-touch with ourselves than ever before.
Some things to note:
Each student will be contacted and coached by the instructor WEEKLY (in some cases daily) to keep them on track and hold them accountable to their own creative development.
In addition to our weekly Sunday night group meetings, there will be two optional morning write-ins per week! These are intended to set-aside time to complete your morning pages, weekly tasks, or whatever personal project you’re creating.
Included in this program is one creative coaching session with the instructor.
This workshop is intended for ANYONE who wants to live a more creative life. But if you have a project you’ve been working on or want to start, this group will also act as an accountability group to finish that project before the end of summer.
If you commit to the workshop, you are committing to a group. That being said, I understand life happens! On weeks you cannot make a Sunday meeting, you will have to email me your check-in before 5pm on Sundays. Do not let a few conflicts hold you back from dedicating the fall to your creativity.
The Artist’s Way is a resource many people return to time and time again, therefore if you want to take the course a second time, you can do so for half-off.
