Join our club!
Written in Brooklyn’s brand new Journal Club is an in-person writing party that makes you feel like you’re sitting at the coolest lunch table in the cafeteria. With generative writing prompts centered around that week’s theme, Journal Club is for writers of all levels to gather, explore personal storytelling and spark new ideas.
We’ll fill our notebooks with ideas inspired by guided prompts, share some of what we wrote, meet new friends, and most importantly, feel really smart and cool.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, process your thoughts, or simply enjoy the act of writing in community, Journal Club offers a welcoming space to put pen to paper. No experience necessary—just bring your favorite notebook, a pen, and an open mind.
Wednesdays 7pm - 9pm at farm.one in Prospect Heights!
$100 for the April session (four weeks)or $35 for a one week pop-in

April 23rd: Smells Like Nostalgia (Remember your best friend from 6th grade who totally fucked you over at the talent show? Or that summer you had your first kiss? Well, you will, and we can’t wait to hear about it.)
